RetailFlow Operator privacy policy
RetailFlow Operator for Android (package com.retailflow.operator) is published by BizFlow. It is a companion app for a shop running RetailFlow on a Windows PC.
Permissions and local-network use
- Camera access is requested only when a user opens barcode or QR scanning.
- Nearby-device and Bluetooth access is requested only for compatible paired ESC/POS printer features. The app does not request location permission.
- The app connects only to the customer-configured RetailFlow PC on a private IPv4 shop LAN using port 5278.
Security notice
The local gateway currently uses HTTP. The app does not provide transport encryption for that connection. Use a private shop Wi-Fi network you control; do not use guest, public, or shared Wi-Fi. Public gateway addresses and non-default ports are rejected.
Data and deletion
The app stores configuration and working data in local app storage as needed. It is not designed to send business data to BizFlow analytics or advertising services. Clearing the app's Android storage or uninstalling it removes locally stored app data, but does not delete records already held on the customer's configured RetailFlow PC.
